By completing this course, dental professionals will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and provide immediate first aid treatment while following Resuscitation Council Guidelines. They will also understand the importance of patient transfer to a hospital from primary dental care and will be able to identify access points and patient removal routes. Additionally, they will be aware of the prevalence, risk factors, and complications of heart attacks, which will enable them to provide better care to patients who may be at risk.
