This course provides an introduction to dental law and ethics. It aims to teach dental professionals about various topics related to professionalism, competence, accountability, regulation, ethical and legal standards, and policy updates. By completing the course, learners will gain practical knowledge and critical thinking skills to meet ethical standards, understand scope of practice, and follow GDC regulations. They will also be able to reflect on their professional development and protect the public by upholding ethical standards. Additionally, learners will understand the role of statutory bodies in safeguarding service users and CQC inspections.
