This course is designed to provide dental professionals with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of dental radiography. It also covers the duties and responsibilities of different duty holders under the Ionising Radiation Regulations and the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations, including employer’s responsibilities, referrer’s responsibilities, practitioner’s responsibilities, and operator’s responsibilities. Furthermore, the course provides an overview of panoramic and cephalometric radiography, the importance of referral criteria, and the guidelines and justification for dental radiography referrals.
