This course is designed to provide dental professionals with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of dental radiography. It also covers the duties and responsibilities of different duty holders under the Ionising Radiation Regulations and the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations, including employer’s responsibilities, referrer’s responsibilities, practitioner’s responsibilities, and operator’s responsibilities. Furthermore, the course provides an overview of panoramic and cephalometric radiography, the importance of referral criteria, and the guidelines and justification for dental radiography referrals. By completing this course, dental professionals will be able to enhance their knowledge and skills in dental radiography, which will help them provide better care to their patients while complying with relevant regulations and guidelines.
